airport not connecting to LinkSys… Maybe OS… need update?
I have a Powerbook G4 1.5ghz and it is not connectiong to my linksys BEFW11S4 router… it says it cant connect to the network… do you guys have any good software to run the router on XP so I can try several different encriptions? And any ideas?

if your talking about Linksys a division of Cisco; their wireless routers seem to have a lot of problems with airport. I get a lot of “Can’t connect to network”. It sometimes takes a while. Other times it connects, but the internet doesn’t work and I have to try again. If you want a router that works every time and with PCs and macs you should try to get an Apple base station. I’ve had no problems with these.
