    Hey all,

I’m having what’s turning out to be a MAJOR problem with audio files in FCP. I’m cutting with standard aiff files at high quality downloaded from a reputable music library (so no excuses there) and Final Cut is periodically deciding to create little glitches in them–grabbing music in the wrong spots and giving the impression of horrendous music edits. Anyone encounter this before? I’ve had it happen to me in the past but could always do something silly like blade the music in the middle to fix it (dont know why this worked but it would for whatever reason) but it’s getting seriously out of control and I’m wasting hours and hours re-exporting aiffs and just being driven mad.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks very much,
    Tim

I should have specified but they are indeed 48/Khz and 16-bit.
