  aif sound not synch

  very strange thing…

  in FCP5.1 i am trying to put together audio and video and it is completely asynched. when i am synchronizing beginning of the video then middle part and the end are far from synch. when i adjusting end of the video to get it synch then beginning go out…

  the same video an the same audio were fit each other before. I even have DVD produced with both of the files together and it is OK.

  when i decoded AC3 sound from the DVD and imported it to the FCP project, then i found that AC3 track is nicely synch with video but aif is not. when i take same AC3 and aif files to the apple soundtrack then they are %100 synched to each other.

  for me it looks like FCP wrongly interpret aif file.

  any idea what i can do to make it synch again? any experience with such strange behaviour?
