I got AFX CS3 I had to upgrade my plugins from Pete (https://www.petewarden.com/).

While I know his site says its not supported in CS3, I was wondering if anyone out there was able to get them to work in AFX CS3? I tried by dropping them in my plugins folder but they dont show up in AFX.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I got them to work in CS3. I haven’t used them for a job yet. But I installed them, was able to drop them onto clips and keyfram effects. Nothing crashed or acted strange.

    So far so good.

My situation is the same as Thad. I didn’t need to do anything out of the ordinary to install the plugins.

I went to the site but can’t seem to find a description. What are these plugins and what do they do?

These are really rad plugins that are free. They make for rad effects and they come in handy a lot.

Click the link if your a Mac user:

    Windows user:
    https://www.petewarden.com/PetesPlugins_AENative0.08.zip

Then follow the install directions on that site.

Other than the elusive “rad” effect, what else do these plugins do?

Glad you think its rad. And just a little tip for next time you have a question about something: first try copying and pasting the link into your browser and just click around the site, usually you can find out a lot about something by doing some investigating.

Thanks for the attitude. I did previously go to the site. It’s not intuitive at all. The link for the plugins is a direct download, as opposed to a page about the plugins wherein you could download from there. Which would be logical and I’m guessing what 99% of other sites would do.

I appreciate the link to the info, but not the condescention.

    Hello–

Can anyone confirm that Pete’s Plugins work ON AN INTEL MAC running AE CS3?

None of the posts in this thread mentioned INTEL macs specifically….

    Thanks-
