AFX CS3 Pete’s Plugins
Posted by Dirk d. Lopez on August 11, 2008 at 6:07 pmI got AFX CS3 I had to upgrade my plugins from Pete (https://www.petewarden.com/).
While I know his site says its not supported in CS3, I was wondering if anyone out there was able to get them to work in AFX CS3? I tried by dropping them in my plugins folder but they dont show up in AFX.
Thanks.

August 11, 2008 at 7:02 pmHi,
I got them to work in CS3. I haven’t used them for a job yet. But I installed them, was able to drop them onto clips and keyfram effects. Nothing crashed or acted strange.
So far so good.

August 12, 2008 at 4:16 pmThese are really rad plugins that are free. They make for rad effects and they come in handy a lot.

August 12, 2008 at 5:08 pmOther than the elusive “rad” effect, what else do these plugins do?

August 12, 2008 at 6:56 pmGlad you think its rad. And just a little tip for next time you have a question about something: first try copying and pasting the link into your browser and just click around the site, usually you can find out a lot about something by doing some investigating.

August 12, 2008 at 7:09 pmThanks for the attitude. I did previously go to the site. It’s not intuitive at all. The link for the plugins is a direct download, as opposed to a page about the plugins wherein you could download from there. Which would be logical and I’m guessing what 99% of other sites would do.
I appreciate the link to the info, but not the condescention.

August 21, 2008 at 7:18 pmHello–
Can anyone confirm that Pete’s Plugins work ON AN INTEL MAC running AE CS3?
None of the posts in this thread mentioned INTEL macs specifically….
Thanks-
