after render auto import
I’ve heard that after you render a project, that it can import itself back into the project without you clicking on the output folder and drag and dropping. Has anyone done this before.

yep, the easy way is to choose composition>pre-render, the import is automatic then.
but you can enable it for any render in the post render actions. in the render queue, twirl down the render settings. then, from the post-render action choose ‘import’.
when the render is finished, ae will then import it into the project window.
