    Great!

I’d love to come, but I’ll be going to the P2 demo at FVESCO the next day… I live in the Springs and the thought of fighting TREX twice is a little daunting!

Any chance of having a meeting in the south part of Denver at some point?

It would be nice if you could post some pointers from your meeting here, like the top 10 list w/answers.

    Thank you

I’ve been delaying the launch by searching for the perfect venue – but until I know how many people will show up, it’s been a losing guessing game.

I also want to avoid using a VAR’s space for the meetings, so as to keep control over the agenda. (since VAR’s want to sell stuff, they tend to be…”persuasive”…in “requesting” certain things be shown.)

I’m going to use the next few meetings as a benchmarch, and from there start casting about for a good location. South-Southeast Denver is tough for all of us in TVLand, as well as the other post houses in Denver (Post Modern, Crosspoint, Base2), but (for example) The Wildlife Experience gave us some space for free or nearly free, then that might change things…

Hopefully, once we decide on a better name and semi-permanent venue, we’ll also get a website up. I plan to ruthlessly imitate my old User Group, Motion Graphics Los Angeles (www.mgla.org)

    Dan –

I know this is a big undertaking (but I expect nothing less from a fellow graduate of the VI School at Lowry!) – but are you planning to have an email list or something? I’d love to know at least when & where the meetings are. With COSMIX & TREX & the speed trap at Castle Rock, just getting to Denver is an adventure of epic proportions!

BTW, when did you go throught the schoolhouse? I might be working with some guys you remember. My email is videopelliatmsndotcom if you get a chance.
