    Hi all-

I’m importing hi-res jpeg sequences (3264×2448) into AE 6.5 for Mac (running 10.4.6). I’m running into a problem where every once in a while, a particular sequence will import in at 1600×1200 (as opposed to 3264×2448), and will only show the top left portion of the frame.

This is not a scaling error within a composition, nor does this have to do with my composition settings. The file imports wrong.

I used to get around this error by batch rendering the image sequence to a different location in photoshop (essentially re-saving all the images). Now this no longer works. The files still open in Photoshop correctly.

    Weird.

The only thing i can think of is camera problems (saving partially corrupted?). However this does not consistently happen. The camera in question is a Konica/Minolta A2.

    Thanks a bunch.

    figured it out!

the first frame of each of these sequences was 1600×1200. so AE used that as the standard for the rest of the image sequence.

i feel sheepish that figuring it out took me this long.

No need to be sheepish. We’ve all been there, and we’ll be there again. 🙂 Thanks for sharing your solution!
