After Effects7 and Cinema4D
Hi guys, can someone help me with tutorial or idea how to import 3d animation from Cinema4D to After Effects7. So far I managed to import animation as .rlf with multipasses into After Effects but then I don’t know how to achieve that solid object or text in After Effect get behind some of the objects import from Cinema4d, I played with Z-axis but then is always behind whole 3d Cinema4d are just in front.

You need to produce an Object ID in C4d – that will
render a Black and White image of the selected Object.
this can be used as a matte in AE to set the transparancy
for this object. (then you can hide something “behind”
that object in your movie.
