So lately ive been working on a 3d thing for a gaming company, and suddenly now when i move objects theres an X over them. And also when i move the timeline bar across the timeline, it wont somewhat preview the video, only stays on the last frmae it stopped on.

Most likely you are using a trial version of some plugin, either it’s one that came with After Effects, (are you using 7.0?) and you haven’t entered the serial number yet, or you are using a demo of some other 3rd party plugin.

    Hope that helped,

No, there is no trial of any plugin. My after effects has a serial and is fully registered and everything. And its not like the X that happens when you have an unserialed Trapcode plugin. It an X when i move anything such as just a blank adjustment layer on a new composition. I was playing with keyboard shortcuts when that happened, and i dont know how to get rid of it.

Ah, I understand now. That X is what appears when you have “Wireframe” selected at the bottom of the Compostion Window. Switch it to OpenGL, Adaptive Resolution, or none, and tell me if that works.

    Hope that helped,
