After Effects workflow with Avid
Hey Everyone,
I’m looking for some tips/suggestions for a workflow between several suites with after effects and avid adrenalines. We have 4 suites, which swap drives frequently depending on which producer we work with. We have just started the whole process of integrating after effects projects with our spots (we’re a promos group), and we realized that it’s a little tricky when the drives get moved around so much. For example, we’ve started to create a separate AE folder within our Avid projects and placed all of our linked files, graphics, etc. But I just wanted to see if anyone had any other ideas!

I always keep an “imports” bin too, that’s a good move.
Check out Pro Import AE, too, it might prove useful sending Avid rough comps to AE… https://www.automaticduck.com/piae
