  After effects wont import images as footage

  Hi, im using cs4 (windows) and im trying to import illustrator files as footage into AE so i can render it. Following Aharon rabinowitz cartooinfication tutorial.

  Ive used this method before without any problems, however, this new project is having problems. When i go file>import>multiple files> and i select more than one image, the box with option to check as illustrator/PDF/EPS sequence disappears and is replaced by one saying “multiple files”

  So when i try to import as footage it still imports as Ai vector art files.

  The only difference between the images that will and wont work seems to be file size (the new AI files are 2-3 times as big) and resolution. Before i was using 720-480 and my new footage is 800-533. Could this be something to do with the problem?

  Any help would be massively appreciated
