  After Effects WMV Rendering Error

  Hello, im new to this forum and i have a question about a problem ive been getting with AE CS4.

  I recorded some footage of Sniper Ghost Warrior with FRAPS and i wanted to make some gameplay of it. So i load up the 4 movie files into after effects, add my into and render it. At first i got an error which said something like this when i tried to render it as a WMV

  error with format plugin “windows media”

  i had rendered other footage from SGW in the past so i dont know why this happened. i am running a windows 7 64 bit, core i5 750 2.67 Ghz, 4 gb ddr3 ram.

  i tried rendering it again, and i either get the above error or just a plain After effects has crashed 0::42 error.

  I have changed absolutely nothing since my last video rendering, so why is it messing up now.

  i system restored to a few days ago when it worked, reinstalled, nothing works.
