  After Effects to Premiere Essential Graphics Issue

  Hi everyone!

  I’m having issues creating an editable essential graphic for Premiere in After Effects. AE lets me make the template just fine, and premiere imports it fine, but when I try to change the contents of the text in premiere, the graphic does not update.

  In After effects, the essential graphics window is ominously red when I bring my text sources in:

  I do get my text sources from a few nested precomps – could that be the issue?
