    Hello all,

First post, so apologies if A) this is not what we do around here B) I’ve made some kind of formatting error or posted this in the wrong place.

Basically, I’m not great with creating much in After Effects from scratch, but I do a lot of editing work within Adobe Premiere and have worked for a number of years editing existing AE templates etc.

Anyway, I’m trying to find a template that essentially will allow me to morph multiple logos into one. For example, it could be a 4×4 cube, which allows you to place logos on the front of each cube, and then the cubes connect and you can reveal a larger, end logo on the larger cube at the end.
Or a template that allows one logo to morph into another.

I appreciate this is a very specific request, but I just wondered if anyone here had come across something similar to this on their travels? I subscribe to a number of AE template repositories, so not too worried where it comes from. Anyway, if anyone knows of one I’d be hugely appreciative.

I’m not averse to making something myself if it sounds straightforward either!

    Thanks in advance

    Hey Chris,

It might be possible to find something similar to what you want on Envato or MotionArray or similar.

But, if you are on a learning curve, and depending on the file format that your logo(s) is in?
Blender 3D is free to use, and have plenty of free tutorials on how to Morph logos and anything else.
A Google search for blender morph logos will give you plenty of choice, even from within the last 12 months.

    Hope that this helps.

This is incredibly helpful – I’ve never touched Blender… probably because I assumed it required knowledge far beyond my means, but you’re nudge might just be the thing that gets me to take a shot at it. Thank you, I’ll give it a go.

Blender 3D is just a free download? I didn’t realise that!

    Hey Chris,

    You are very welcome.
If on Windows, the Blender App is inside the “Microsoft Store”.

I use Humble Bundle to by course bundles from the likes of:
    https://cgcookie.com/courses/blender-basics-an-introduction-to-blender-4-x

They normally appear for 20 days at a time on Humble Bundle.
Current one, although not Blender, but might teach you how to do the same in Unreal (which is also free to use in its basic form):
    https://www.humblebundle.com/software/the-complete-concept-art-training-bundle-software

Packt has just had a massive sale where I purchased multiple eBooks and courses at £ 3.99 each. These sales will return, so worth keeping an eye on:
    https://www.packtpub.com/en-us/search?q=blender

Failing all of the above, if you have a subscription to LinkedIN learning, you might find help there too.

Enjoy – and don’t forget to come back and show the final result 🙂

Consider me inspired, thanks sir, this is incredibly helpful. I’m going to check out all these resources now. I have Mac and PC so will take a look.

So, in theory, it shouldn’t be too hard for example, to add depth to a flat png/svg logo and then create a sort of morphing loop where one logo morphs into another then into another etc?

Can’t wait to get started, will report back when I crack it! Thanks again
