after effects stopped updating my layers
I don’t know what happened, but I added about 100 photographs into my composition, and have them sequenced one after the other, and After Effects wont show me the changes when I modify any properties of these layers. I can change the position, scale, opacity, or whatever, and nothing happens. The green bar at the top of the timeline doesn’t disappear like it should, so when I change these layers the view doesn’t update.
Now, if I go and change any of my other layers that I have already added to my project, the view updates perfectly fine! But these photos that i added… it just isn’t letting me change them. If I turn the layer’s visibility off and then back on, it will update the view, but I cant get any realtime feedback as I modify properties.
I’ve tried restarting After Effects, and it didn’t help. I dunno what else to do, or what could have caused this.

Ok I have sort of solved the problem, but not really…
It seems that the layers only are not updated if they are a single frame long. If I adjust their length to 2 frames or more, then they update perfectly fine! Of course, I had them trimmed down to 1 frame length, because I didn’t want them any longer than that :\
