I imported png sequence into After Effects which was rendered at 29.97 fps from C4d and getting this jerky playback that you can notice after 4 secs onward.

AE interpreted as 30 fps that I forced to actual 29.97 fps but still getting this problem and unfortunately I have no clue on this. Output file link is copied below, please come up with your suggestions if possible to resolve this.

Output from AE using AME was H264 @ 29.97 fps

    Thanks in advance.

Just to clarify, I exported PNG sequence from C4D and imported that as footage in AE because I wanted to apply certain effects in After Effects.

I suspect this is a GPU rendering issue. try this – in the Queue panel in AME use “Mercury playback engine software only” as your renderer and not and not “GPU” and try again.
