After Effects Pre-Purchase Query
Hi guys,
I have the opportunity to buy CS6 After Effects which I’am just starting out with and was hoping you could clear up a question i have before purchasing.
I’m running a imac and was a bit confused about the whole 64 bit requirement.
Imac specs:
Intel core i3
3.2 GHz
Processor 1
Core 2
Ram 12GB
0SX 10.6.8Will the software run and what are the draw backs, just starting out so its basically for teaching myself.

All configurations are OK but If you can buy a better Processor like :
Intel Core i7 , That would be much better.Vishesh Arora

CS6 will run on your machine, however, a faster processor like it was suggested and a better video card would allow you to tap into the power of CS6 a lot more than what you have right now. AE and Premiere in CS6 make use of the Cuda technology on Nvidia cards for real time previews, effects and 3d. You will be able to use the software, but with AE do not expect to do any 3d work without using 3rd party plugins that make use of the CPU or any GPU, not just Nvidia.
