I’m trying to pre-compose 3D text and shadow layers with camera tracking so that I can apply Match Grain and Blur without doubling up the grain on the background video layer. When I do, the solid that I have used to project the shadows turns solid black and the shadows are not visible. I’ve looked into collapsing transformations but I don’t yet understand it fully and I’m still having the same problem. I’m sure it must be something simple that I’m overlooking.

Thanks in advance for the help.
