  After Effects – plot changes of set pixel or region on graph?

  Hi,

  I was wondering if there’s a way to get After Effects to display on a graph the data regarding how a single pixel, or small selected region, changes over the course of a video.

  For example, in the case of a pixel and if the video was pure black and white, the graph would show at which points in the video that pixel was black and which points it was white. In the case of a small region, it could show some kind of averaged value derived from the contents of those pixels.

  So on the X axis there would be time, and the Y axis would show some kind of averaged value relating to the content of the pixel.

  I would have thought there’s probably a simple way to do this that I’m unaware of, can anyone help?
