I have a Mac Pro dual quad core, 16GB ram, Nvidia quadro 4800 fx, and an internal raid that moves at about 350MBs.

I can’t get real time ram previews from HD or SD. I have the same machine at work minus 6GB of ram and the Qurdro. And I have no problems with real time play back on my ram previews

Thanks for any input… and the quadro is up to date on the drivers.

If you are using something like a Blackmagic card for output to a preview monitor.. and your Blackmagic output is set to SD/29.97 for instance but your comp is HD/23.976… you can get this problem as well.

Thanks for the input matt, but that didn’t help I have a kona 3 card. But I’m not using it for playback. It’s fully updated and I’m running it 64bit mode on the machine. (But I did make sure in the aja control panel I’m matching my comp settings just encase)

I’ve given my OS more memory to work with, I have disabled openGL…. I’m kind of at a loses????

Thanks again for all of the help…
    dan.
