    Does After Effects have a tool comparable to Final Cut Pro’s Media Manger? Something that’ll allow me to migrate media assets while maintaining links.

    I’m not familiar with FCP’s innards but in AE there are four thingies that you will want to adhere to –
    1) Remove Unused Footage
    2) Consolidate Footage
    3) Reduce Project
    4) Collect Files

    These have to be done sequentially. It’ll be too long and repetitious for me write a low-down for you. Check the manual for each stated item and you should be good.
