after effects media migration
Posted by Romeo Rubio on November 23, 2011 at 9:31 pmDoes After Effects have a tool comparable to Final Cut Pro’s Media Manger? Something that’ll allow me to migrate media assets while maintaining links.

November 24, 2011 at 4:53 amI’m not familiar with FCP’s innards but in AE there are four thingies that you will want to adhere to –
1) Remove Unused Footage
2) Consolidate Footage
3) Reduce Project
4) Collect FilesThese have to be done sequentially. It’ll be too long and repetitious for me write a low-down for you. Check the manual for each stated item and you should be good.
