After Effects Lightning
So i’m stumped on something i’m trying to create, what I have is some text in AE.
And I want to have some lightning hit the text, and then have the text have like, electricity sparks around it, as if it just got hit by lightning.
I’ve been playing around with the Advanced Lightning effect, but I can’t figure out any way to accomplish this with that. Maybe with particular somehow?So is this even possible in AE? And if it is, how would I do that?
If it’s not, what program would I need to do something like this. -

Problem is, I can’t get the lightning to hit the text right.
There’s the strike lightning type, but that only hits 1 spot on the text. I want the lightning to spread out all over the text when hit.
