I keep getting “The application Adobe After Effects 8.0 quit unexpectedly.” error while trying to render out my files.

Some projects render out fine but the one I’m working on seems to be crashing alot I have no clue why as this is happening. Also once I start the app it says that I have 3.0 GB Ram but I’ve installed 4. I’m using schools computers so everything is legit and registered. Someone please help.

First off what type of computer are you using? Mac or PC. The New Intel Mac’s have had a few problems running some Adobe software.

Yes I’m using the new intel macs. It seems like it renders fine once I render it inside after effects and then export it but if I try to export it by itself it shuts down.

Be sure to visit adobe.com and wander over to the AE support discussions. Tehre is an entire folder devoted to Intel Macintosh issues.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”
