  After Effects instant preview for scrubbing, color changes, effects

  Some weeks ago i either made a change by mistake without noticing or there is a software issue with my After Effects Preview.

  It was always set by default to a mode where i can scrub through the timeline and instantly see each frame when scrubbing. Now it only shows the frame i stop scrubbing on or when using arrow keys to cycle through frame by frame.

  The same problem appears when changing colors on layers or elements or using Effects… i don’t get the instant preview as before. For scrubbing I can use Alt+ but somehing has been turned off or changed in settings.
  I can’t find any settings options or buttons to change this. Anyone know how i can solve this or how i could have changed this setting by mistake?
