I’m new to AE. Ive been working on a composition in a portrait format – It is to be used on a display stand. The size of the work is 1080 (W) x 1920 (H)

Ive rendered it to H.264 as recommended by the agency and on the first, say 5 test renders this worked fine and it produced a perfect final piece, however, for some reason when I now try to render it it comes up with a mismatch warning, with this message:

    warning: output file will be resized from 1080 x 1920 (1.00PAR) to 1080 x 576

I haven’t intentially changed anything with the settings but now when it renders it resizes the work to a squat 1080x 576.

Can anyone advise why this might be?

I’d have imagined that the H.264 setting wouldnt allow me to do a custom size, but then why did it let me do it to start with?

    Hope someone can help.

Could you attach a screenshot of your project, with the composition added to the render queue, and the ‘Render Settings’ pane opened from the render queue?
