After Effects file and rendering problem
Hello, I’m facing a problem with After Effects CS4.
I was working for 4 days on a short film shooted with Canon Legria/Vixia HF200 in AVCHD format. I edited it on Premiere Pro CS4 and then imported the project into AE in order to add some effects and color correction. While everything was OK, suddenly a video file got corrupted. Then, another one got corrupted.
I tried to fix the problem by taking from a first “trial” render the frames that got lost and placing them on the projec where needed.
Then, I started rendering the video again. In some point, After Effects told me that it “can’t read frames” from a video excerpt (but the file is not damaged!).
How can I fix this?
My system is an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.5 GHz processor, 2 MB RAM, a 500 GB local disk and 3 external disks (if you need anything else, just tell me). The footage is on an external hard disk and I set the final video to be rendered on the local disk.
Thanks in advance!
