I’m working on an infographic that shows how my story’s magic works. In order to do this, i traced some images my friend drawed for me and organized them in Illustrator. Next i imported each drawing as a composition in After Effects, added the desired effects and put them in the infograph.

The problem is that i noticed a dip in quality when i exported the AE as an image for the first time. The first two images i’ve added are from an AE and Illustrator export, respectively. The first one image’s full resolution is 1323×2800, and the second one is 1881×4000. I tried increasing the AE export resolution, but it seems the real problem is in the compositions that form the Infographic.

The last two images show how i’m doing things. First i import the .ai file without the drawings, then i import the drawing and add it to the larger .ai composition after applying the desired effects.

My question is: what can i do to increase the quality of the AE export? is there something wrong with my workflow or some setting i missed when adding the drawings?
