After Effects Export for iPad
Hello,
I’m currently in the middle of a project that involves the creation of a short animation for the iPad and a rendered still.
I’m rendering a Tiff image sequence from Cinema 4D and importing it into after effects.
My problem is getting the colours of the .mov in Quicktime (I know this is a well documented issue) to match those of the still frame (The colours are 100% correct in VLC).
I’m currently trying different Codecs to see which one is closest, so far being Sorensen 3, but it is still a little off.I presume the iPad uses some version of Quicktime, so am thinking that I should only be concerned with how it will look in that, as this will be the only place the animation is being viewed.
So would correcting the Gamma of the animation until it matches the still be the best route to take? (This makes it very dark in VLC of course)Any ideas or advice are much appreciated. Thanks.

Use the encoding presets for the iPad in Adobe Media Encoder.
