After Effects Error : Strange Situation [0/2]
Curious if anyone has seen this message before. I have version 7.0.1.11 and am getting this error when i try to copy certain layers and whenever I try to make a pre-comp out of selected layers already in a timeline.
Has anyone else seen this error and have a solution ?

This is my favorite error message. It provides so much detail about the error.
I have no solution, it sometimes precedes a crash or can occur when memory is low. Have you enabled disk cacheing?

I have no solution, but at least I can confirm the error.
I only had it when working with HD Material.Peter

I do have disk cacheing on. The drive I use for it is about 70% full though.
This isn’t HD footage though. It was actually DVCPro50 footage that was MXF files converted with Raylight. So they are actually Raylight AVI’s.
It does come and go but I hadn’t noticed what type of footage it was when it wasn’t working. I will start tracking it.
