after effects cs6 crashes on startup
this is the error message i get every time I try to start AE CS6, for several days now. (mac)
at first I thought it’s because i tried to mess with the presets.xml file (because one of the plugins needed an edit there), but after I tried installing and uninstalling several times now (and checked that the file was reset), I kinda gave up. (I also tried removing the magicbullet plugins, following a tip from adobe forums)
I really need help guys, my job is on the line here

Three things I would try:
1) Reset the preference file to default settings by holding down Shift+Option+Command as you launch After Effects.
2) Permissions repair using Disk Utility.
3) Making sure you have the latest After Effects updates installed.

thanks for the help, but none of those worked…
I actually did find the solution!!!!
IT WAS THE FONTS. i turned off some of the fonts in Fontbook,
and apparently they’re REALLY important to after effects.hope that helps for the rest of u 2
