After Effects cs5.5 64 bit error at start up
Hi,
AE every time starts give me an error immediatly during the early stages, (initializing Media core)
as soon as i click ok a second message appears
The problem it’s that the ram preview don’t work or it’s so slow when it works.
I already try to delete prefs, reinstalling AE and updating Quiktime, nothing works.Any suggestions it’s really appreciated.

try moving this folder to the desktop and restart ae:
UsersAppDataRoamingAdobeAfter Effects10.0
the folder may be called ‘10.5’ for cs5.5. once moved from its current location, ae will recreate it and the files within it…. if it works, you can delete the folder that you moved to the desktop.

you are right the folder it’s 10.5 but i already try to delete it,
the error it’s still there.any other suggestion?

i think this issue should fall under adobe’s installation support, which is free, so it may be worth calling them.
if cs5.5 had been working and then started having this issue, then perhaps something had been installed recently… if you can remember when it had been working last, you could try a roll back to that time and see if that helps.
