After Effects CS5 will not open.
So I am having some trouble with my copy of CS5.
I will open the program and the small box pops up, but it gets stuck on “initializing type engine…”
If I click the box the program crashes and if I try to re open it I get the same situation.
Has anyone ever suffered from this problem before and know how to fix it?
btw-Iv tried re installing it already.

Without some more detail, its hard to diagnose. Is this a new install and the first time launching or have you successfully run AE CS5 before?
If the latter, then its possible the applications preference file has been corrupted. You can reset the prefs to their defaults by holding down Control+Shift+ Alt (Mac: Command + Shift + Option) when you launch After Effects.
