    let`s analyse some situations:
    *for 4 gb ram

    1.Windows 7 x64
    a) adobe after effects cs5 (runs on x64)
-cs5 needs more rams than cs3/cs4 right?
-programs running on x64 have their performances higher than x32
    b) adobe after effects cs3/4 (runs on x32)
-cs3/4 needs less rams than cs5 so it`s performance is higher
-programs on x32 runs slower in windows x64

    2. Windows 7 x32
    a) adobe after effects cs3/4 (x32)
so in this configuration adobe has better performance than 1.a) and 1.b)

    **for 8 gb ram
So here is clearly that Windows x64 and adobe after effects cs5 has the best performance, right? or I am rong…

Windows 7 on x64 can allocate more than 3.4 gb rams for applications and the windows on x32 can`t allocate more than 3.4 gb rams.

For moment i got windows 7 x64 and 4 gb rams I need some opinions.
All above are my own opinions I might be rong so correct me …

After Effects CS5 provides better performance than CS4 or CS3 in all cases.

[roby kiss] “cs5 needs more rams than cs3/cs4 right?”

CS5 can use more RAM than CS3 or CS4 could, but it doesn’t require more.
