After Effects CS4 RAM Preview Audio Problem
Well, I’m editing a montage, but when I ram preview the desired workspace (clips and music), the music cuts out about a second before the preview is over (while the clips keep going). This does not happen when I turn on full screen mode but, I’m still wondering how to fix it since it’s quite annoying.
I’m using AE CS4 with my Mac Book Pro which has 4 GB RAM 1067 MHz DDR3, 2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, and a 250 GB Hard Drive.

All you need to do is to lengthen the audio preview
Preferences/Previews/Audio Preview/Duration
However, it is best you do the final edit and mixing in a editing software like Premiere or FCP.Tudor “Ted” Jelescu

I’ve tried changing the resolution from Full to Half and to Third, but the problem still occurs. Also, it is previewing in real time since it wasn’t lagging or dropping frames. Even if it wasn’t in real time at first, I would just play it back a few more times and eventually it would play in real time. The only audio file I could find for the song I’m using is MP3 so there is nothing I can really do there.
In addition, I know that 4GB RAM is not much, It is just a longer process. Plus I’m thinking about getting an upgrade to 8GB RAM. There isn’t much I can do, I’m 14 years old and using the resources I have to edit a Call of Duty Montage. 😛

Thanks for the suggestion, but it didn’t work out. Still the same problem.
