After Effects compositions keeps being conformed in Premiere
Hi,
I have the problem that my After Effects compositions (contained in one AE project file), which are imported in my Premiere project, are begin conformed again when I click away from Premiere to another application (like MS Word, Explorer), and then back to Premiere. I did not go or change anything in AE. This doesn’t sound good, isn’t it?
First, only compositions from my AE project are being conformed again and again, not my other footage. More strangely: the compositions being conformed are not always the same ones. I can’t find any pattern in it.
I have two SATA hard drives with fixed drive letters. So no changing drive letters, portable drives or so in my case. My other footage is on the same drive and isn’t being conformed again.
The compositions now have a lot of cfa-files, one already 64! I’ve already deleted them, started a new project (both After Effects and Premiere) and imported each project to get some clean start. No luck with that. I also cleared the Premiere cash database and preview files, no luck with that either.
Secondly, my After Effects contains only audio in 48kHz (WAV, 32-bit), the same as my Premiere project. Why is Premiere conforming in the first place, when the same sample rate has been used? Some After Effects composition don’t even have any audio, and are also conformed again and again.
I hope someone can help me with my issue.
Regards,
Jeroen
