    Hi

I’m having problems with the color and contrast when i make movie out of after effects. The footage im working on is HDV1080i Rendered out from Final Cut Pro. First thing I did was import clips into FCP, Switched to Apple Color to grade it, dropped it back to FCP and all is good. Then i Export it as Quicktime Movie, using the same settings (Current Settings). Then Went to AE, imported the footage, worked on it… no color grade done. just added vector effects on it, and when i render it back out the contrast is higher and the colors are off. Am i doing something wrong with the color profile, which one should i choose? I rendered it out on HDV 1080i codec and Uncompressed both of them had problems.

Need the big guns to help 🙂

    Cheers!

    Hey there,
I posted a similar question with no response. Have you heard anything yet?

    Thanks.
