After Effects Artist needed for New Orleans Documentary – non-profit
Our non-profit, the New Orleans Video Access Center (NOVAC), is producing a one-hour program on New Orleans following hurricane Katrina. We would like to incorporate some basic map animation but have not been able to find a local After Effects artist. We have the maps already created but need someone to help animate them.
We would like to create an “Indiana Jones” style map with a red line that corresponds to a driving tour of four of the most devastated neighborhoods. We also want to show maps of the flooded area of New Orleans and overlay them to other major cities like New York, San Francisco, DC, etc. The idea is to show the geographical magnitude of the flooding as compared to major cities throughout the U.S. We’re doing our best from a grass roots level to show the devistation in New Orleans and our struggles.
We don’t have a big budget as we’re a non-profit but can pay something for your work.
