  AFTER EFFECTS app.scheduleTask() crash on any Modal Dialog – is it normal?

  I have issue with app.schduleTask() which breaks/crash on any visible/hidden Modal Dialog window (simply script stops working).

  Like if I open, let’s say AE Preferences dialog: bum!, it crashes – is this expected behavior?

  If so what is possible solution to this, like is there any other equivalent to app.scheduleTask() that would go nonstop in AE background and would not be disrupted by some opened window or something?
