After Effects and images
Hi I am new to after effects and just have a quick question. I’d like to be able to take an image not a vector but a plain jpeg and create a ripple effects on that image pretty much like this https://www.planetaep.com/After_Effects_Graphics/Ripple_Warp.html
The image is off hand crafted text. Thanks for your help

This tutorial will probably be more than you want, but it gives you a good introduction to using several effects. The one you want to focus on is the displacement map.
