After Effects and Automator
I am trying to use Automator on the mac with After Effects. I use the watch me do and record my actions but when I hit run I keep getting an error message. Does anyone know why this won’t work or do I have to do something to get it to work?

Does Automator work with othert softwares on your system?
If it does then there could be an engineering issue with your version of AE. For such issues, it may be best to get in touch with Adobe directly. I doubt if there are many AE users trying to do what you are wanting to do and even less likely for them to have read your post to help you out.
But do report back as I think what you’re trying to do is quite cool.
