After Effect Mask problems
I’m making changes to a coworker’s After Effect file. I’m not that great at AE. He has this layer “[Pale Red Solid 1 ]”, it’s over a video file. The video has a guy talking with a horizon behind him. What the layer in question is doing is making the sky brighter. I need to edit this layer so that the mask follows the edge of his head (which it isn’t currently doing very well). But when I click the layer, no vertexs (improper term?) show up. I’m talking about the dots that appear when using the pen tool to make a mask. All I see are 4 vertexs which contain the sky within. When I turn off visibility, the sky darkens so I know I’m dealing with the right layer. How do I edit his vertex’s?
