  After Effect error: missing maxp

  I have been away on vacation from work and I get back and boot up after effects 7 and I get this error:

  After Effects error: missing maxp

  (83 :: 4)

  Any ideas on how to fix this, or even what it is? I’m sure no one was using After Effects while I was away, so I’m not sure why anythig would be different.

  Thanks for any help, I’m guessing my best bet would be just to just re-install, but will I lose all my preferences and layout views? I’m on MAC OSX. Thanks!
