    Hi there,

    If have a laptop 32bit os is windows 7 and after effects CS4

    I have installed 4gb but afx tells me he is only going toe use 2 gb, does somebody know a work around te make afx to use maximum of my ram, or more than 2gb ??

    I have a usb disk with 8gb to have te ram cache, on that drive biut it doesnt speed things really up…

    You need a 64bit OS to be able to make use of all your RAM.

    I did try a “hack” for the os to allow it to see 3gb of RAM, but all I was able to get was 2.5. If you google that you will get some directions but I would recommend switching over to 64bit.

    But i already knew that also, i was wondering for a work around with windows 7 and cs4 but thats not going to happen, i guess..
