After capturing a clip, I can’t hear the audio in Premiere CS5 .
After capturing a clip, I can’t hear the audio in Premiere CS5. No audio on the wave form on the timeline either. I can open the clip in VLC and it works fine.

What type of clip is it, and how many channels of audio does it have? It might be a mapping issue, or possibly an import issue. How was it imported into Premiere?
