I’m curious to know if anyone has used The Foundry’s CameraTracker in AE to track a scene and create a camera, then used the “AEtoC4D” plugin to export the camera into C4D? I’ve been getting familiar with the tracker and have seen how the AEtoC4D plugin works, but have never seen anyone use both.

The reason I’m asking this question is because CameraTracker has a tendency to invert the camera after solving. This isn’t really a problem if I’m just using AE, but when I bring it into C4D my scene is basically backwards.

If you’ve found a way to solve this problem please let me know! I have some thoughts on how to fix it but they’re just theories at this point…

    Hey Brian,

Did you ever find an answer to this? I’ve got a track per Cameratracker in AE that sticks well, but exported to C4D the axes are completely off and it’s completely wonky.
