    AECS3 and C4d 8.5

    money went to buying the latest After Effects but though I kept AE 6.5 on my machine, the plug-in to read Cinema 4D files (version 8.5) no longer works in either.

    In other words, the aec file isn’t readable by AE6.5 (it was before) nor AECS3.

    Does anyone know if there is a new plug-in for AECS3?

    There is a new one on the Cinema 4D site for R10. I hope that it works for you, as I’m not sure of any issues with old C4D (8.5) and new AE (CS3). I hope you don’t have to upgrade C4D.
