I’m trying to export a 1.5 minute video as an AVI file. It renders fine, but the resulting file never has any audio. As far as I can tell, my settings are fine and there’s no reason for it NOT to export the audio too.

    – I’m using After Effects CC 2015
    – The audio tracks are not muted, and audio plays back just fine in After Effects.
    – Audio is checked in the output settings
    – Audio files are all .wav format
    – The rest of the files used are: .png, .jpg, .wav, .avi, .mov, .mp4

Anyone have any idea what might be going wrong?

    Well, that’s frustrating…

I was able to get around the issue by exporting separate video and audio files from AE, then combining them in Premiere.

Glad you found a solution that worked. Just curious; did you try exporting the composition with Media Encoder instead of using the Render Queue? I’ve had a few export issues in AE 2015 and using Media Encoder seems to solve them for me.

We have a fix for this audio issue in the After Effects CC 2015 (13.6) update:

Try it out and let us know how it works for you.
