I’m having a big problem getting the alignment right for my vanishing point pictures.

After I import the picture from PS into AE, the picture is misaligned. I’ve tried correcting the problem by going into the original comp, I’ve tried dragging it into a new comp, I’ve tried different comp settings and sizes, camera movement, 3d movement, collapsing transformations etc, etc, and I’m starting to pull my hair out. For example, the viewer will show the top of the house, but when I zoom out the comp is rotated all over the place.

It’s so painful to just get the picture centered that I’ve given up on vanishing point.

I’ve watched the tutorial here and others on the web, but I just don’t see how I’m supposed to get the picture aligned in AE when I have multiple angles.

What have people done in the past to get it aligned somewhat quickly without having spending hours fumbling with a picture.

See how the comp is rotated and misaligned.
