AE – Still Freezes
My AE is still crashing each time I try to Import anything, or export anything. I even CANT save nothing… It just freezes. I eliminated the preferences. And still, wont change nothing.
I havent change anything to my pc. The program was working perfectly until I quit using it for a while, then when I finally used it again… I coulnt impor/expor/save. Should I Uninstall it and Reinstall it again??

What changes since you last used it…..did you update drivers of a video card or the like ????? I would try and figure that one out….After that I would try and resolve that issue…as a last ressort I would re-install.

If you use this machine for a ton of internet stuff then you might have run accross a virus aimed at JUST 3D/Compositing/Animation softewear.
I’d start with some anit-virus, spywear stuff and check it out. I’d recommend AVG 7.0 (out of Germany , I think) good stuff.
But then again–deinstalling and reinstalling is easy. Don’t put all your 3rd party plugin on right away. Do them in pieces and make sure they work first.
