AE keeps crashing every 15frames or so when I render. The project is a 30second spot with HD footage bumped down to a 720 540 comp. It is quite motion graphic intensive! The work around is we are rendering 3frames and importing the Sequenced footage into Avid,.. and that is obviously a pain and time consuming. The computer we are using is a Xeon HP 3Ghz 3gigs of Ram. Im looking for people who have had similar problems, and possible solutions. Thanks

You might be running out of RAM. Try accessing the secret prefs by holding down the shift key when accessing the prefs — release shift when the dialog box appears. Try setting it to purge every 5 frames during Make Movie.

Keep windows task manager open to watch your RAM usage if you like.
